Okay, so I passed my final. Yay for that. I got pictures of the whole class, and had a good time reading all of our stories outloud.
But my class was only the beginning of my interesting night.
Carol comes to get me, late mind you, but that was already expected. I scrunch in to the backseat of her Ford Areostar with three other older women already there. We're crusing down East End Road, my cell phone goes off. its Beth, telling me I need to watch the MTV music awards when I get home, so we BS for a bit until...
Thudthudthudthud
A flat. A fucking flat tire.
BUT. It seemed that fortune smiled on us tonight. Standing outisde looking completely helpless, a young guy in a red truck pulls over and asks if we need help. Asks if we have a spare and a jack. Carol does, so we help drag the stuff out. The guy attempts to get the van up, but the jack is rusted. Then another guy, who ironically works on cars, pulled up and asked if we needed help. The other guy tells him that we need another jack. Both of them work to get the spare on, and tada! Half an hour later we're back on the road, right as the rain starts to fall.
Needless to say it was something we were chuckling about for quite some time. Still...I'm a little twitchy from it. I don't like road accidents. They scare me, no matter how small.
Atleast things worked out. I need food now. e.e;
