Man...
the past couple weeks have been crazy, but in a (mostly) good way.
And for the first time ever I think I'm actually glad for it.
Joe finally got a job at MDC Research with me. He's interviewing, I'm recruiting. Interviewing = phone surveys, Recruiting = getting people for paid focus groups. I'm actually going to try and cross train for interviewing in hopes of more hours later down the road. I like the place. So much smaller than Stream, and I actually know a good portion of my coworkers rather than having 90 percent of them remain unknown faces to me. Also, its nice having Joe work with me again, though he's got odd days off compared to mine. He's actually going to work right now, but I have the day off.
Apparently this chunk of the year is just party freaking central.

mellonemrys had her birthday back end of September. Her, her mom, me, josephhord and pandainacan all went out to the midnight showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Clinton for it. It was SO MUCH FUN. I was in hysterics the whole time, could barely breathe from laughing so hard. Joe actually wound up blowing up a condom with his nose as an initation for 'Rocky Virgins' and got a standing ovation from the crowd because he was able to not only blow it all the way up but pop it as well. My initation was to sound in a line of people, boy girl boy girl, and thrust back and forth while singing the Oscar Myer Weiner song. XD; Joe says I will never live it down.
damiendarkstar had his birthday a little while later. The party was a week late, just this weekend, but that was mostly do to others' scheduling conflicts. It was okay, if a bit short, and there was a rather unsavory incident trying to leave, but we all went back to him and aliasnwunderlan's house afterwards and stayed up to like three in the morning just talking and listening to music. We stayed the night then hung out until about 3 with them until finally coming home. I was pretty much dead to the world all yesterday. :P I didn't mind, as I hadn't seen either of them in about three months, and I was really sad about that. But I plan on seeing them a lot more now that I'm working again.
kotomyra is coming down on the 26th. YAY! We're having an anime party the next day, and ketsuban, blackjackrocket, and mellonemrys are all invited along with my friend Asa and his friend Keaton, so I'm hoping everyone can make it.
As far as everything else is concerned...
The money situation has been bouncing between good and bad. We've gotten a lot of help, but are alternately running out of sources to get help FROM. Our rent check bounced, but the complex is being awesome about it and are just waiting for all the information to be in their system to have us pay again. Its gonna be like 100 bucks more, but thankfully with Joe AND me working now its not going to hurt nearly as bad. I'm gonna get a loan anyway, though, just to make things a little smoother while we work on getting our bills and what not back in order.
But we're still here, and the fact that we've made it this long is really awesome. We just have some hurtles to get past still.
OH. DUDES. My brother proposed to his girlfriend! They went to Mexico and he had a ring and everything. I don't know the answer yet, they're getting back in today, but I'm hoping she said yes. My big bro deserves some one nice, and she really is.
I'm going out withmellonemrys and her friend Dylan today, just to run around town and get some stuff done. They're going to be here in about an hour, so I need to go switch the laundry out so I'll have pants. XD;
