Nov. 4th, 2004 05:39 pmAlright. So another day has gone by and we haven't blown up yet, so I guess I could stop bitching about the fact that we get four more -lovely- years with President Idio-..er, sorry. Bush.
I'm upset, yes, and quite honestly I'm even more dissapointed in our state for thier decision aganst gay marrige. Really, it makes me lose alot of faith in this great and beautiful state and its people.
But, that's enough of that. I've said my peace. I made the smart choice and avoided the Portland riot last night. Upset as I am, I'm not gonna make a scene about it like everyone else. I'll protest in silence with my Kerry buttons, vote Democrat shirt, and Vote hat.
I've come down with the flu, or some odd bizzare faximile there of. I'm not throwing up, but I do have a sorethroat, am horribly achey, and spent two to three hours at various times durring the past three days with the shakes. No fever, either. Oddness, yes? Pro'ly came on from the stress of everything.
Less then two weeks until JobCorps. I'm a bit nervous, but its a happy nervousness. I just have a ton of crap I have to do before I leave.
Time's almost up here at the library. Beth's here with me, since we went to my friend Tye's wedding today (congrats to him and Kitty, who are both on my LJ list so they'll see it. Hee. :P). We also went to Pioneer Place and came up here. Forest said she needed to get out of the house.
Anywhozle. Headin' off. Library closes soon.
Much love to all, no matter what your political affiliation is.
Hopefully Kerry's wish of unifying the nation will become a reality.
