Reply to this with the line "I take your life forever, you take my life forever" and I'll give you five questions. Post this in your journal with your own line (WHICH LIZ NEVER MENTIONED. :| )
1) What made you decide to be an art major? I was about ten years old when I started watching The Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series and reading the original Sonic the Hedgehog comics as well as Marvel's Generation X. Some how that sparked this insane idea that maybe I could draw. I wasn't horrible at it, either, but of course I was ten - I lacked a lot of the basic concepts. My dad actually tried to discourage me from it, but he did that in a lot of things in my life. Heaven forbid I should be creative and maybe actually succeed where he failed. =/
Anyway, I went through a few more ideas about what my 'dream job' would be, including writing which I massively burnt myself out on in my senior year of high school. But I never got tired of art. I always had a place for it somewhere - more so after being introduced for Photoshop and all it's wonderfulness. After trying and failing at culinary thanks to my inability to stand for 8-10 or more hours a day, I finally settled on Graphic Design, since it allowed me to learn traditional techniques while moving in to a well paying technical field. Best of both worlds!
2) If there was one thing you could change in your life, what would it be and why? That's difficult to answer, because I've come to a point in my life where I know for all the struggles and trials I've gone through, it's gotten me to a good place in my life that I'm not sure any other path would have taken me down.
But, if anything, I'd want my real mom back. Not because Diane isn't a wonderful step mom- hell, parent in general- but because I would love for her to see me graduate from college. She's the one who taught me how to use computers when she was going to college when I was about four, and I'd want her to know that it's because of her I've made it this far in life. I have these skills because she taught them to me at such an early age.
3) What got you into liking CSI? Damn, I honestly don't even remember EXACTLY why. I want to say that it really was Greg, though. xD I actually started watching around my six month mark at Enterprise, because it was on right about the time I got home from my shift. Eventually I started picking up the DVDs from Hollywood video and watched up to season 5. The whole show was just amazing, and it was the first non-anime, American series I'd gotten in to since Stargate SG-1, which started when I was 13. That says something, considering I think most prime time TV these days is absolute shit.
4) What do you think of human nature? The Michael Jackson song is awesome. :|
... in all seriousness, I just try not to think about it anymore. Humans alternately amaze and disgust me, but I know I'm here for the long run whether I like people or not. I keep my good friends close, but don't go out of my way to make new friends because I'd rather not be betrayed again.
5) Do you has cheeseburger? I does not. Jeni is not a big fan of cheeseburgers. I bet Reiko is though.
