Bad and Good news

So Asuka, my beloved computer of nearly 6 years is on her last leg. I mean...she has been for a while. A long while. But I kept hoping I'd get a little more life out of her before calling it quits. However, on the same note, I'm too attatched to actually be there for the final moment when she completely crashes. I don't want it to happen, so I'm accepting the sign of Photoshop completely shutting everything down after 20 minutes as a sign that my processor has had it and harddrive probably won't last another month.

The good news?

Mike was ohsocool enough to order me a new system that was on sale for about 300 bucks. I'll be paying him back in installments. The system was on backorder but hopefully it'll arrive soon.

Its terrible timing for my system to start going kaput, as I JUST started my comic, but like I said...crossing my fingers my new one comes soon.

The job is going good, though I finally made a fuss about a certain cubemate who was really grating on my nerves with the things he would say, and I requested that I be moved. Ah, sweet silence...

And...I'm tired. But I'm tired like ALL the time now days. Can't seem to help it for some reason.

But that's it for now.

I will make it known when my new system arrives. <3

Congrats on the new computer. We'll be needing another one soon as well, but we'll probably wait until the sick one completely dies. I have this annoying desire to pay off some bills first.

Bummer to hear you weren't comfortable where you were, but I'm glad you're happy where you are now. We're so far removed from that end of things, by both time schedule and being on the far end, that we never hear what's going on. Well, except for the dancing on the tables... we hear about that. *g*

As for being tired.. holy shit so am I... Today is my Saturday, and I'll be lucky if I get one single thing done (I'm really going to try, though.) I'm exhausted. I got to "sleep in" until 6am today. I never in a million years thought 6am would qualify as "sleeping in late".

Sorry to hear about your system, but I'm sure you'll grow into your new one in no time. ;)

Reminds me, I need to back up some things soon. I'd be so lost if I lost my computer, or even just my HD.
