Everyone's English is different! Name five colloquialisms from where you grew up, or slang that you and your friends use.

I can't think of many  that I 'grew up with'. So whatever. Most are more common for me.

1. "Plain as day" - I'm sure this is a pretty common one for everyone, but its one I still use a lot. Basically means that something is really obvious or clear.
"I saw it sitting there, plain as day!"

2. "Monkey in a side car" I think this was one my boyfriend came up with, but I can't remember what exactly the context was. It was just used A LOT afterwards to describe otherwise insane or bizzare situations. Essentially it means that the entire situation might as well have been run by a monkey alone in the side car of a motorcycle, because it would have gone just as well.
"And eventually we were all just screwed because we didn't have the supplies we needed."
"Heh. Monkey in a side car..."

3. "Emowobble" Found it in a magazine, been using it ever since. Awesome way to describe the way an 'emo' may "dance" at a concert with particularly emorific music. We often yell it at one another when joking about some one being overly emotional.
"Oh go to a damn Linkin Park concert and EmoWobble for a few hours already!"

4. "DoubleYouTeeEff, Mate" Snagged from the 'End of the World' flash, always said in a psudo-Austrailian accent. When something is particularly confusing/screwed up.
"She flipped me off!"
"DoubleYouTeeEff, Mate?! What's up with that?"

5. "WASABI!" A retarded way of saying 'whatsup'. Seriously. Nothing more than that. XD;
