Right, so, I got an ugly wake up this morning.
My LCD '19 monitor is dead. Kaput. Gone. All the stuff online says "Dell will just say replace it, there's a part inside that needs to be replaced."
Well ahaha I have no money to do that now do I?
Right now I'm on this godawful tiny monitor that I had back in Tigard. It's huge and takes up so much space on my desk.
At least it's just the monitor and not my computer, but I'm going to look at going over to Goodwill and at least seeing if they have something bigger in screen size.
Gah. Fuck.
That is all.
PS. Would anyone mind donating a couple of dollars so I can actually get another monitor? D: I'm so completely broke.
EDIT: I might be able to fix it. I found this http://boredprojects.blogspot.com/2008/06/hp-vs19d-fix.html and it says that capacitors inside have likely blown and can be replaced. It'll be cheaper than getting a new or even used monitor.
