Good that it's been civil so far but AUGH. Maybe its just my own modly instinct kicking in, but when people go and poke the proverbial gator in these situations I instantly want to sit the team down and play Mama Bear and tell them "Don't do it! It's bad!"

... hitting them with a bat works, too, though.
