Phone service is off. Mom didn't pay the bill. We're gonna go take care of it, though.

Should be back on by this evening.

Also, I did something funky to my chest, either by hiccuping or something else, and it feels like a pulled a damn muscle right in the middle of my ribcage. ;.;

Ouch. I'm sorry you're not feeling so hot. try drinking some warm tea and put a warm towel over your chest. Sometimes, the pearl lining in the chest will stretch during the hiccups. The warmth from the tea should help with elasticity and ease the pain a little more. It's like recovering from a muscle spasm. There;s a little residual pain left over.

The way it's feeling now, and how it's affecting my breathing, I think Al's right. Especially coupled with the inexplicable sore throat. I took some meds, and my mom's gonna get me some OJ and maybe some other stuff at the store to see if it helps.

My sister has already said that if this doesn't clear up by the time I get to Portland she's taking me to clinic there.

I will try the tea and the towel, though. Taking a shower made it feel better earlier so heat will probably loosen whatever's so damn tight in there.

I should say, Al's right in thinking it's a bronchial infection, not an injury. I posted that in the Dive and PW comms.

I read and responded to both of them. Oh gosh....I sure hope that you get to feeling better. If it's a bronchial infection, chances are that the tea will definitely break it up.

I'm so sorry that you're having a horrible time. Please get well soon.
